This is the website of the director, actor and researcher Thanasis Kritsakis, based in Athens.
On this website, you will be able to find some basic information about my work and my education.
I was born in Thessaloniki town in the 25th of October 1991 and I was raised in a little village in the fields of Serres.
Through my work with performing arts, I developed an interest in the post-dramatic forms of theater and the connection of them with political theory. I'm aiming to discover new forms of "jouissance" that could be produced through the act of spectating. Different forms of aesthetics could create hope that we are still able to create new meanings, new ways to live.
